Integrating with Shopify

Overview

Connecting your Shopify store to Truly Free is the fastest way to import your products, keep your inventory synced, and manage orders efficiently. With the integration, your product information automatically transfers into the Seller Portal, your stock stays up to date, and your orders flow into Shopify for fulfillment.

What Syncs When You Integrate

When you connect Shopify to Truly Free, the following will happen:

• Product Information – Titles, descriptions, images, and pricing sync directly into your Seller Portal.
• Inventory Levels – Stock counts automatically update between Shopify and Truly Free.
• Orders – Any order placed through Truly Free is sent directly to your Shopify admin, so you can manage fulfillment from one place.

What You’ll Need to Integrate

To complete the integration, you’ll need three pieces of information from Shopify:

• Domain URL (example: mystore.myshopify.com)
• Access Token (generated through your app configuration)
• API Key (available in your API Credentials section)

How to Find Your Shopify Credentials

1. Get Your Domain URL
   • Log in to Shopify Admin.
   • Go to Settings → Domains.
   • Copy your domain (ex: mystore.myshopify.com).
      
2. Create an App for Truly Free
   • Log in to Shopify Admin.
   • Go to Settings → Apps and Sales Channels.
   • Click Develop Apps → Create App.
   • Name it “Truly Free Market Integration.”
      
3. Enable Permissions
   • In the app, go to Configuration → Admin API Integration.
   • Grant these permissions:
     • read_products, write_products, read_product_listings, write_product_listings
     • read_orders, write_orders, read_order_edits, write_order_edits
     • read_inventory, write_inventory
     • read_assigned_fulfillment_orders, write_assigned_fulfillment_orders
     • read_returns, write_returns
     • write_cart_transforms, read_cart_transforms
     • read_draft_orders, write_draft_orders

   • Save your changes.
      
4. Get Your Access Token & API Key
   • In the app, go to API Credentials.
   • Click Install App.
   • Copy the Admin API Access Token (this is only shown once — save it securely).
   • Copy your API Key as well.
      
5. Send Credentials to Truly Free
   • Share your Domain URL, Access Token, and API Key with your Truly Free Seller Success Agent.

Next Steps After Integration

Once connected, our Launch Team will:

• Import your full product catalog.
• Confirm that inventory is syncing properly.
• Verify that orders from Truly Free flow to your Shopify admin.
• Provide you with a walkthrough of your imported products.
